There is a growing change of pace, particularly within the food industry, towards the increasing use of plastic pallets. Plastic pallets are increasingly being specified where pallet washing is required and PPS Equipment Management Ltd, based in the Midlands is now offering pallet rental to clients, and a number of plastic pallet rental and food crate rental options.

A number of food companies use the services of PPS for tray rental to complement their pallet rental requirements. In addition PPS at Measham have a crate wash facility on site where to wash plastic crates and a dedicated pallet wash unit.

Timber pallets still dominate the pallet or load carrier market but whereas wooden pallets have traditionally been used, it is only feasible to wash plastic pallets.

Plastic pallet rental, crate rental and tray rental are all among the services offered by PPS.
